Setup & Care

What's in the Box

The pendant arrives with the light fitting, the ceiling canopy, mounting hardware and fitting instructions.

Ceiling Installation

  1. Switch off the mains power at the fuse box before starting any electrical work.
  2. Hold the ceiling canopy against your chosen position and mark the fixing holes.
  3. Drill the marked holes and secure the canopy to the ceiling with the supplied fixings.
  4. Connect the mains wiring to the terminal block. Live to live, neutral to neutral, and earth to earth. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
  5. Fit an E27 bulb rated up to 60 W into the lamp holder.
  6. Restore power at the fuse box and check the fitting works before finishing the install.

Bulb and Fitting

The lamp holder takes LED, incandescent or fluorescent bulbs with an E27 base, up to 60 W. No bulb is included, so choose one that suits the warmth and brightness you want.

Placement Advice

The adjustable cord of up to 120 cm makes it easy to set the right drop above a dining table, kitchen island or reading nook. Allow enough headroom so the shade sits comfortably above eye level.

Care and Cleaning

Switch off and let the fitting cool before cleaning. Wipe the glass shade and the walnut wood neck with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark the glass or the wood finish.

Simple to Fit, Easy to Live With

This single light pendant is built from a walnut wood neck, brass fittings and a ribbed milk white glass shade measuring 25 cm across. The combination of wood and glass gives it a warm, tactile feel that plain metal shades do not have.

It takes an E27 bulb rated up to 60 W, and works with LED, incandescent or fluorescent lamps, so you can choose the light quality you prefer. The bulb itself is not included. The light runs on the UK 220–240 V mains and is hardwired to the ceiling.

The hanging cord is up to 120 cm long and adjustable, which makes it easy to set the right drop above a table or counter. Wipe the glass and wood with a dry cloth to keep the surfaces looking their best.
