I live alone and I work from home so I'm inside basically all day, and the AQI outside was sitting around 150 for several days. I bought this kind of in a panic and it arrived the next day which was already impressive. I plugged it in and within about 20 minutes the sensor went from red down to yellow and eventually settled on green. I kept all my windows shut and just let it run on medium and I never got that scratchy throat feeling I always get during fire season. My neighbor came over and immediately asked what I was using because he could tell the difference just stepping inside. 100 percent recommend.
