Preparation

Choose a spot along the garden path or patio with enough distance from water and planting. Make sure a suitable underground cable can be run to the planned position.

Before starting, switch off the power supply completely. Work on outdoor wiring should only be carried out by a qualified person.

Installation step by step

Mark the installation position and dig out a recess to the required depth. The installation depth is approx. 8 to 10 cm depending on model.
Feed the underground cable through the light's cable entry. Make sure the connection is strain-relieved and waterproof, in line with the IP65 rating.
Set the ground light into the recess and level it. Fix the housing as per the supplied instructions.
Backfill around the light and press the housing flush with the surface so no edge protrudes and water can run off.
Switch the power back on and check it works. The light should come on evenly straight away.

Safety notes

The light is IP65 certified, making it dust-tight and waterproof for year-round outdoor use. Even so, standing water in the installation area should be avoided long term.

Use only cables and connectors approved for outdoor use. If in doubt, we recommend installation by a registered electrician.
